my lovely friends

My friends from my sorority days went on a reunion trip last weekend (when I was at my cousin’s wedding, which was also quite fun). I am happy that they shared their pictures with me because I got to see their beautiful, expressive faces having so much fun and sharing lots of laughter…

Next year, I am not missing it!
what tired looks like

I searched flickr for photos of being “so tired” and here is what I found. They made me smile and made it easier to get up this morning and go to work, so tired. Enjoy!

Thanks to all who have sent word that you like me new design. I like it too and it is by no means finished. Little things will continue to change here and there…
So, I thought, since there’s some new stuff, I’d explain what’s here.
*To the left you will find the most recent posts. You know, for when you miss one.
* Scroll below and you will find all the most recent comments should you want to continue the conversation…
*Below that is another little view into my world, through Flickr, which you can see that I am hoping you will also join (Free or Pro) and share your photos. Click on the word flickr over there to check it out and get your own account. It’s fun, you’ll see.
*Keep scrolling and you’ll find my netflix cue. You should do that too and we can share movies.
*Just below that you will find links to my friends. If you’re not there, but you are my friend and have a little space on the web, please let me know. I did not leave you off intentionally.
*And finally, after all the scrolling is through, you will find links to things I visit on the web or find generally fabulous. (aka: obsessions)
So, anyway, I hope you enjoy the new details.
xoxo

“I believe there is a force in this world that lives beneath the surface, something primitive and wild that awakens when you need an extra push just to survive. Like wildflowers that bloom after a fire turns the forest black. Most people are afraid of it and keep it buried deep inside themselves, but there will always be a few people who have the courage to love what is untamed inside us.”

This movie turned me into a wet pile of tears. What is it about horse movies that makes me weep?

To my girls,
I wish I could come with you. I wish you the best reunion trip ever…

I demand that there be plenty of forties, glitter, singing along to 90’s rap, nachos, tarot card reading, hot tamales, stories, puffy paint, laughter and pictures to share!
‘Real love’
