You might find, sometime over the next week, that you will not be able to access this here portal into my LA life…

This will not be because I have blocked any of you or anything silly like that. It will simply be because my site is going through some changes (really good ones, wait ’til you see what my genius brothers can do…)

In the meantime, I will continue to update, but keep checking back for the future of alitaylor.com!

PS: Here’re a few things going on…
*I have 2 classes and 4 shows in the next 2 days.
*I got the keys to my new condo and am moving in next week.
*I still have not watched the season premiere of Grey’s Anatomy.
*I think my brothers are really damn cool!

Thoughts on this mix: I have no complaints about this mix. It was so refreshing because I don’t use any of these songs in my classes. A little folk, a little country, a little rock, a little R&B, a little Pop and a little Madonna.

Today’s favorite songs: A Case Of You & Orange Crush Two totally different Genres, which is why I can’t choose one over the other. It was really hard for me to narrow this down today…

Today’s least favorite song: By Your Side I always think I like Sade, but then I always have the strongest urge to skip over these songs.

Tomorrow night, 9pm, the Season Premiere of Grey’s Anatomy! (with a pre-show hour of past season highlights). I will not be able to watch it until Friday because of my show, but I can’t wait.

It’s been weeks since I’ve sat down with myself and listened to music. Between rehearsing & opening a show, teaching, working, having out of town visitors and being in escrow, I’ve had no time for anything else.

BUT, I did buy a new aliPod (’cause the old mini aliPod went kaput!)

Thoughts on this mix: This was exactly the kind of mellow I was hoping for (ok, with the exception of Usher). It was soulful and light, ’til the end when I was rejuventated and ready to stand up and shake it.

Today’s favorite song: Prayer by Leela James, just ’cause her voice is so deliciously beautiful.

Today’s least favorite song: Crazy For You by Madonna, but just ’cause I’m over it.
