I blatantly stole this from my friend Jenni’s site, but I had such a strong reaction* to it that I wanted to share it here as well.

Oh yum!
My new favorite food may save my arteries. When you crave french fries, try these instead. You’ll never miss the potato!

Here’s a quote by an awesome actor on my favorite TV show, Grey’s Anatomy.
“You don’t have the time to “make the time” to do anything. You have to do it now!”
~Isaiah Washington (Dr. Preston Burke)
This happens to be very poignant for me at the moment…
There’s nothing like a break…

I am back from Mexico and feeling good!
I was scheduled to leave for Mexico on Sunday, April 3rd, but due to my flight with Aero California being cancelled, I wasn’t able to leave until Monday morning. After learning that all the Aero California flight had been cancelled and knowing that countless others would need new flights, I immediately got on the phone to Alaksa Airlines and booked a whole new flight to Puerto Vallarta (Aero California only opperates on Sundays and Thursdays, so unless I wanted to wait that long, I wasn’t going anywhere with Aero California).
When I arrived into Puerto Vallarta on Monday evening, I was so happy to finally join my family at our yearly vacation destination: Paradise Village.
I spent the next five days kayaking with my Dad in Bahia de Banderas, boogie boarding in the warm waves with my brother, lying on the beach, both in the sun and out, with the whole family, playing “Guess The Animal”, “Old Maid”, “Teen Titans” and “Poor Kitty” with my nephew, munching Mayan Cheese Sticks and Molcajitas at Fajita Republic (yum!) and being reminded that time off certainly helps my sanity be restored..
I arrived back to Los Angeles on Saturday night and went back to work promptly on Sunday afternoon. Before I left I had officially burned out, way out ~ but now I feel rested, refreshed and ready to work again.
Thank you, my lovely family, for your senses of humor (even if I don’t always get it, my dear brother), for your sense of play, for the heart to heartedness of our conversations, for the sharing of ideas and the love that binds us all together.
I can’t wait until next year!
(I didn’t take any pictures, but if you click on all the links above, you can get an idea of my vacation)
