From my bicycle, as I rode along the beach this afternoon, I saw…

Runners and bicycle riders, rollerbladers and dog walkers. Elderly people contentedly sitting on park benches. Men without shirts and women in bikinis playing volleyball. A father and his young son on a bicycle built for two.

A seagull convention.

Three little boys wrestling each other into the sand. Happy couples out for a stroll. A woman leaning on a tree, reading a book. Pregnant women gazing out toward the sea.

Not a cloud in the sky.

Over the weekend I auditioned to be a member of the [URL=http://alliancerepertory.com]Alliance Repertory Company[/url], a small, 99-seat, member supported theatre company in Burbank. Today I was asked to become a member and I am happy to be joining a new group of “theatre people”…

And hopefully it means I’ll be back on stage sometime soon!
